TEHRAN – In a meeting of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution on Tuesday Farhad Daneshjoo was elected as the new president of the Islamic Azad University by winning the majority vote of the members of the council.

By a vote of the members of the council board of trustees of the university on January 1, Abdollah Jasbi’s 29-year presidency ended, and Daneshjoo was introduced as the nominated president.
